About this opportunity
The Dorothy Mayhew-Hirvonen Bursary is designed to support an ANU Law School student who identifies as female and is able to demonstrate educational disadvantage on the grounds of financial, physical or emotional hardship. Funding for this Award has been provided by Dorothy Mayhew-Hirvonen in recognition of her love for ANU and the time she spent here as a student. The bursary provides financial assistance to continuing domestic or international students enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) program, whether as a single degree or flexible double degree, at the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy. Preference is given to first year students who can demonstrate need on multiple grounds, and to applicants who have not previously received this award. The objective is to help alleviate educational barriers faced by female law students experiencing various forms of hardship.
