Doug Schmit Scholarship

The Doug Schmit Scholarship was established in 1996 and is available to full-time students at Lakeland College who are completing their first year and returning to their second year in the Fall. The scholarship recognizes academic achievement while also supporting students who demonstrate financial need. To be eligible, students must be residents of Alberta or Saskatchewan. The award amount varies from year to year. This is a year-end scholarship with an annual deadline in April. Applicants are expected to describe their contributions to college and community life, including involvement in student affairs, leadership activities, athletics, and community events or organizations.
