Douglas and Gordon Bonnyman Scholarship

This scholarship is available to entrant postgraduate research students from any country studying for a PhD in the arts or humanities. It is generously supported by the Linda and Gordon Bonnyman Charitable Trust, and is based partly on financial need. One award of £22,000 per annum is available, paid towards tuition fees first, with any balance between tuition fees and the annual award value paid as maintenance. The scholarship supports three years of postgraduate study at the University of St Andrews. Applicants must demonstrate both academic merit and financial need to be considered for this award.
