Douglas Bomford Trust Scholarship 2025-26

The Douglas Bomford Trust Scholarship is open to all BEng and MEng Engineering students studying at Harper Adams University. The objective of the Douglas Bomford Trust is to advance knowledge, understanding, practice, and competence in the application of engineering and technology to achieve sustainable agricultural, food and biological systems for the benefit of the environment and mankind. The Trust may award up to five scholarships. The successful recipient(s) may be awarded funds individually based on merit typically up to a maximum value of £1,500 for one year only, although higher payments can be made in exceptional circumstances. The award will be payable to the successful recipient(s) in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2026 and the balance in May 2026. It is a mandatory requirement of the Douglas Bomford Trust that a scholarship recipient is required to submit a report back to the Trust advising them of how the scholarship has been spent.
