The Douglas H. Staudinger Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student entering the first year of a Red Deer Polytechnic program who has graduated from a Sylvan Lake high school within the past two years. The scholarship recognizes leadership in high school and gives preference to students with a history and future in agriculture. This memorial scholarship honors the legacy of Douglas Staudinger and is funded through the Susan and Douglas Saudinger Memorial Endowment.
