About this opportunity
The Downing Brothers Bursary is an undergraduate scholarship awarded to students enrolled full-time in the third year of the Bachelor of Agricultural Science at the University of Queensland. The bursary was established with a $3,000 bequest from William Downing who died on 25 November 1958. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and provides financial support to students pursuing careers in agriculture, agronomy, or related industries. Selection is based on academic achievement in the program to date and other evidence considered relevant by the Associate Dean (Academic) to the student's future success in agricultural fields.
