About this opportunity
An award, valued at up to $1,000, is available annually for a student from Downsview Secondary School in Toronto, Ontario enrolling in first year of any program at the University of Waterloo. Candidates must have a demonstrated financial need as determined by Waterloo. This entrance bursary is specifically designed to encourage and assist students from Downsview Secondary School to attend the University of Waterloo. The fund was established through a generous donation from a Downsview Secondary School alumnus who wanted to support students from his former high school. Students must apply through the University of Waterloo Entrance Bursary application, which is accessible through the Awards and financial aid tab in the Waterloo application portal. The application is open to Ontario students who will be studying on a full-time basis and who are applying to post-secondary studies for the first time.
