Dr Alan Lan Van Tran and Minh Ha Tran Indigenous Health Education Scholarship

This scholarship is part of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme at the University of Queensland. Established in 2013 and maintained by the Alan Lan Van Tran and Minh Ha Tran Family Endowment Fund, this scholarship supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students experiencing financial hardship who are enrolled in health-related programs. The scholarship provides financial assistance to help students complete their studies in medicine, nursing, or midwifery. The scholarship awards $10,000 for one year to three recipients annually. Selection is based on demonstrated financial hardship, the strength of the applicant's personal statement explaining how the scholarship will assist in program completion, academic achievement, and other factors relevant to future academic success.
