Dr Andi Lothian MBE Scholarship

The Dr Andi Lothian MBE Scholarship is a £1,000 scholarship awarded to two community-minded students entering third year of their undergraduate degree at Abertay University, with one student selected from each University faculty. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate a commitment to positively impacting the local Dundee community or student communities at Abertay through voluntary work, leadership, or advocacy including sports clubs and community groups. Established in 2025 by Dr Andi Lothian MBE, the scholarship supports students who show active engagement in community activities and align with Abertay's values of being innovative, caring, inclusive and collaborative. Applications are assessed on impact and contribution to the community, innovation and leadership in initiatives, personal growth and development through the experience, and the overall quality of the application including supporting evidence.
