Dr. Bill Carter Memorial Athletic Award

The Dr. Bill Carter Memorial Athletic Award is a nominated scholarship provided to a member of the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Hockey Team. This award recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate strong team and sport leadership qualities while maintaining eligibility requirements set by the ACAC (Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference) and CCAA (Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association). The scholarship gives preference to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine program or Kinesiology & Sports Studies. Recipients are selected by the coach based on their contribution and value to the team. This is a nominated scholarship, and selected recipients will be notified directly by the Red Deer Polytechnic Athletics Department throughout the year.
