Dr. Bill W. (Doc) Fuller Veterinary Scholarship

The Dr. Bill W. (Doc) Fuller Veterinary Scholarship is a one-time scholarship funded by Virginia Tech and awarded to 3rd and 4th year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students in the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. This scholarship supports students who have demonstrated financial need as determined by the FAFSA and who are residents of rural areas in their respective states. Preference is given to students in the Food Animal Medicine track, with second preference given to students in the Mixed Animal Species track. Additional preference is based on state residency in the following order: Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and West Virginia. The scholarship is designed to support veterinary students pursuing careers in rural and food animal medicine. Award amounts vary and may be subject to changes in funding availability. Recipients may receive alternative awards of the same amount if funding circumstances change.
