About this opportunity
The Dr. Charles L. McKinney Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered through the Tarrant County College Foundation for students enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College. The scholarship supports students pursuing an associate degree or certificate of completion at the TCC South Campus. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA at TCC, or if a first-time student, have a high school equivalent or passing GED score. The scholarship requires enrollment in a minimum of 9 credit hours or full-time enrollment as defined by the recipient's program during the award period. This opportunity is designed to recognize academic merit and does not require determination of financial need. The scholarship may be renewed for the spring semester if recipients maintain a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 and complete at least 9 credit hours in the fall semester.
