About this opportunity
An award, valued at $1,000, will be awarded annually to full-time graduate students enrolled in the Master's program in the School of Architecture in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. The award is based on the strength of the student's research proposal and interest in the area of Architecture in Africa. Selection considers the student's research proposal, thesis abstract, and academic standing. This fund is made possible by a donation from Baldeep Duggal in memory of his father Dr. Daleep Singh who retired as the Head of Department of African studies and Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Delhi. Students interested in applying must submit an application form to the School of Architecture by February 1, with the Graduate Studies Committee at the School of Architecture collecting applications and selecting recipients in the Winter term.
