About this opportunity
The Dr. David John Fry Scholarship in Physics and Astronomy is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the Faculty of Science at the University of Calgary. The scholarship is designed to support students majoring in Physics or Astrophysics who demonstrate academic merit. This internal scholarship was established by Dr. Prem S. Fry and provides financial support of up to $2,500 to one recipient each year. Eligible students must be in their second, third, or fourth year of undergraduate studies in one of the qualifying physics-related majors including Applied Physics, Astrophysics, Chemical Physics, or Physics. The award is open to students of any citizenship or residency status.
