About this opportunity
The Dr. E. Ann Sheridan Scholarship was established in honor of Dr. Sheridan, Professor Emerita, to endow an annual scholarship for an outstanding student in the Basic Baccalaureate Program within the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The scholarship supports students who have completed three years of undergraduate study and demonstrated a sustained interest in the nursing care of children and their families. Applicants must have a high grade point average of 3.5 or over and outstanding clinical skills in Pediatric Nursing as assessed by Clinical Faculty. Preference is given to students enrolled in the Honors Program and Massachusetts residents who have aspirations for advanced education in the field of Pediatric Nursing. The award amount varies from year to year based on endowment income.
