About this opportunity
The Dr. Ernest and Minnie Mehl Scholarship was established by Mrs. Minnie Mehl through Alberta Student Aid to help Alberta students after her many wonderful years as a teacher, wife and valued community member. This scholarship provides financial support to Alberta high school graduates who are continuing their post-secondary education in Canada. The scholarship is awarded to one student annually based on academic achievement in Grade 12 diploma examinations, using the same selection criteria as the Alexander Rutherford Scholarship program. Recipients must have completed Grade 12 in Alberta following the Alberta Education Curriculum and be pursuing degree programs at Canadian post-secondary institutions. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and supports students in their transition from high school to university or college studies.
