Dr. Frances A. Puffer Scholarship in Sociology

The Dr. Frances A. Puffer Scholarship in Sociology is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third year of a degree program in the Faculty of Arts majoring in Sociology at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing with preference given to students with a record of community service and/or volunteer activity. This endowed scholarship was established by Dr. Karel Puffer, P. Eng., in memory of Dr. Frances A. Puffer, a University professor, educator, mentor and advisor to many. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship portal.
