Dr G Edward Sleath Scholarship

The Dr G Edward Sleath Scholarship is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement registered in the BSc Nursing program at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic standing and excellence in surgical nursing, with preference given to operating room nursing where applicable. This endowed scholarship fund was established by Mrs Glendora Elaine Sleath to support nursing students demonstrating excellence in surgical nursing practice. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
