About this opportunity
The Dr. Garry E. Ernst and Janet E. Ernst Endowment provides financial support to students pursuing a degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences at Eastern Illinois University. Recipients must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students with a declared major in Communication Disorders and Sciences, enrolled in the degree-seeking program. Students must have completed at least 15 hours of coursework at EIU including two courses in the major, maintain a major GPA of 3.2 or higher, and be in good academic standing. Preference is given to first generation students and those planning to pursue careers as School Speech-Language-Hearing Pathologists. The scholarship is renewable for students who continue to meet eligibility criteria. Awards are announced in the Spring semester and disbursed in the following Fall semester.
