Dr. Gary McPherson Leadership Scholarship

The Dr. Gary McPherson Leadership Scholarship supports Red Deer Polytechnic students who demonstrate outstanding leadership, particularly in the area of disability, and/or initiative to improve the lives of others. The scholarship is available to full-time post-secondary students enrolled in a minimum of 9 academic credits each term. Recipients must be Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Protected Persons in Canada, be Alberta residents, and maintain a GPA of 2.7 or greater. Three awards of $2,000 each are available annually. Applications are submitted through the Red Deer Polytechnic online application system, with applications opening in November each year.
