Dr. Gary McPherson Leadership Scholarship

The Dr. Gary McPherson Leadership Scholarship is awarded to Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, or protected persons within the meaning of subsection 95 (2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) who are Alberta residents with satisfactory academic standing. Recipients must be enrolled in any year of an undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on outstanding leadership, especially in the area of disability, and/or initiative to improve the lives of other people while attending a post-secondary institution in Alberta. Applicants are automatically considered based on completion of the General Application through the University of Alberta's AcademicWorks portal.
