Dr Glenn Baxter Memorial Scholarship

The Dr Glenn Baxter Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to supporting students in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation) program at RMIT University. Established in memory of Dr Glenn Baxter, a former Senior Lecturer who was instrumental in developing the Aviation curriculum at RMIT, this scholarship honors his legacy of over 30 years in aviation management and his continued dedication to aviation research and education. The scholarship provides financial support of up to $10,000 for students in their third or fourth year of study, with preference given to those experiencing circumstances that impact their ability to study. Dr Baxter's sister Julie established this scholarship to continue his commitment to supporting aviation students and education after his unexpected passing in 2023 at the age of 67. The scholarship aims to help students overcome challenges and achieve their educational goals in aviation, reflecting Dr Baxter's lifelong dedication to the field.
