DR Godfrey Memorial Prize

The DR Godfrey Memorial Prize is awarded to an undergraduate or convocating student who is working toward a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement in English literature of the romantic period. The prize honors the late Professor Emeritus Denis Godfrey and was endowed by members of the Department of English, the Faculty of Arts, and the Alma Mater Fund of the University of Alberta Alumni Association. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, provided the student's academic record is otherwise satisfactory in the year of the award. If no suitable candidate can be found, no award will be made. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
