Dr. Harold M. and Alice D. Cavins Scholarship

The Dr. Harold M. and Alice D. Cavins Scholarship supports full-time juniors, seniors, and graduate students at Eastern Illinois University who are pursuing health-related majors and preparing for careers in health fields. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be accepted to Eastern Illinois University with a declared major in a health-related field. The scholarship is awarded to students preparing for careers in diverse health disciplines including nursing, biological sciences, psychology, kinesiology, nutrition, communication disorders, and various pre-professional health programs. The award is announced in the spring and awarded in the fall semester. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Eastern Illinois University scholarship portal.
