Dr Harry Weinlos Humanitarian Award in Medicine

The Dr Harry Weinlos Humanitarian Award in Medicine is awarded annually to a medical student enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes the student who best exemplifies the humanitarian ideal in the practice of medicine, combined with an overall record of academic excellence. This endowed award was established by Mrs Morris Weinlos and daughters in memory of the late Dr Harry Weinlos of Edmonton. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
