About this opportunity
The Dr Howard Fredeen Scholarship in Agriculture is awarded to students with superior academic achievement enrolled in the second or subsequent years of a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. Preference is given to students with indicated financial need. This scholarship is funded through endowed funds by Howard Fredeen and is administered by the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences.
