Dr. Ian and Joyce McTaggart-Cowan Scholarship in Environmental Studies

Two scholarships will be awarded to graduate students in the School of Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria who are focusing on Endangered Species Recovery and/or Ecological Restoration. Preference will be given to students whose work is interdisciplinary, assists conservation in British Columbia, has a strong field component, and is focused on the conservation of animals. The scholarships are equally ranked and awarded based on nominations from the School of Environmental Studies. Recipients must normally maintain an A- average and be full-time graduate students. Approval of recipients is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Awards Committee upon recommendation from the School of Environmental Studies.
