Dr J W Young Memorial Award

The Dr J W Young Memorial Award is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of a Doctor of Medicine degree. Selection is based on academic standing. This endowed award was established through the will of the late Mrs Young in memory of her husband. The award is administered by the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application, with no separate application required.
