Dr Jack Vettriano Scholarship

University of St Andrews Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Dr Jack Vettriano Scholarship was established by a generous donation from Dr Jack Vettriano to support students from Scotland and the rest of the UK in their studies at the University of St Andrews. The scholarship forms part of the Wardlaw Scholarship scheme, established in 2004 to provide financial assistance to academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with the cost of studying at the University of St Andrews. The award provides £4,400 per year paid as maintenance, which can be used towards University accommodation fees. Maintenance is paid in ten monthly instalments directly to the student's bank account from September to May, with a double payment in February. This award is paid annually for the duration of the student's undergraduate programme. Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria, and recipients may be asked to share core personal details with the scholarship benefactors and submit reports throughout their period of study.
