About this opportunity
The Dr. James McConica Graduate Award in Humanities was established in 2024 to support a graduate student entering a program in the Humanities in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Regina. This scholarship will be presented to a graduate student who is in their first year (first, second or third semester) in a Graduate program in the Humanities in the Faculty of Arts. Preference is given to those in financial need. The award recognizes graduate students who demonstrate volunteer activity and requires students to submit a written statement of up to 350 words detailing their volunteer work. Recipients must be registered and remain registered in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the term the award is presented. The U of R Secretariat includes the following departments as Humanities departments: Philosophy, Journalism, Gender, Religion and Critical Studies, English, International Languages, and History.
