Dr. Janet L. Norberg Scholarship

The Dr. Janet L. Norberg Scholarship is awarded to full-time students at Eastern Illinois University majoring in Communication Studies, Education, or Music who demonstrate strong academic achievement and active involvement in a Christian church. Recipients must maintain at least a 3.2 GPA and be sophomores, juniors, or seniors. The scholarship gives preference to students entering or preparing for Christian vocations such as Church Youth Director, Recreation Director, Teacher (grades 9-higher education), Minister/Pastor, Church Music Director, or Missionary. Recipients must provide three letters of reference attesting to their moral character and academic achievement. The scholarship is renewable for students who continue to meet the criteria. The award is announced in the Spring and paid in the following Fall and Spring semesters.
