Dr. Jim Carter Syncrude Mining Scholarship

The Dr. Jim Carter Syncrude Mining Scholarship is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering or continuing in the School of Mining and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated involvement in volunteer activities. This endowed scholarship was established by Syncrude Canada Ltd in honour of Dr. James Carter. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship system.
