The Dr John and Mrs Adriana Nell Scholarship in Agriculture is an undergraduate scholarship valued at $6,000 that supports and recognises high-achieving undergraduate students studying in the area of agricultural science at the University of Sydney. The scholarship has been generously donated by Dr John and Mrs Adriana Nell to provide financial support to students who have completed year two of the Bachelor of Agricultural Science or Bachelor of Agricultural Science Honours and are progressing into their third year of full-time study. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, determined by the recipient's Weighted Average Mark (WAM) for subjects completed in the current degree. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship. The scholarship is tenable for one year only and is paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. No application is required as eligible candidates are considered automatically, with successful recipients notified via email.
