Dr. John Long Memorial Bursary

The Dr. John Long Memorial Bursary is presented to a student in the summer session of the first year of one of three Nipissing University Summer Indigenous Programs: Teacher of Anishnaabemwin as a Second Language program, the Native Classroom Assistant Development Program, or the Indigenous Teacher Certification Program. The bursary is valued at $875.00 and is awarded to support Indigenous students pursuing education in teaching and language programs. Recipients must be residents of Ontario and demonstrate financial need. This award supports students who are advancing their careers in Indigenous education and language instruction.
