About this opportunity
The Dr John Osbourne RN Scholarship is a funding opportunity to support residents of St Paul's College who are enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine program at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is available to students in their second, third, or fourth year of study.
This scholarship was established in 1919 by a bequest from Mrs Kate Cunningham Moffat to provide assistance to Doctor of Medicine students residing at St Paul's College. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and is determined by the Head of School and Dean of the Sydney Medical School.
The scholarship is tenable for one year, with the value determined by the Head of School and Dean. Payments are made in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. Recipients may apply to hold the scholarship for a second year, subject to approval. To maintain eligibility, students must maintain satisfactory academic performance and remain residents of St Paul's College throughout the scholarship tenure.
