Dr. John Zahorjan Student Scholarship Fund

The Dr. John Zahorjan Student Scholarship Fund was established in 2000 by the son of former faculty member, Dr. John Zahorjan. This scholarship supports students pursuing or planning to pursue a master's degree in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University at Buffalo, with a specific focus on production management and a strong inclination to apply academic lessons to professional practice. Preference is given to students in the engineering management concentration. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, with domestic students required to complete the FAFSA and international students required to submit a financial need statement in the general application. The scholarship seeks student leaders who are willing to help grow the Engineering Management community through program ambassadorship, testimonials, or participation in webinars to offer guidance to prospective and new students.
