Dr. June Zimmer Sport Leadership Award

The Dr. June Zimmer Sport Leadership Award was established in 2021 to support a student athlete on the University of Regina Cougar Women's Soccer team. This internal scholarship is awarded to a University of Regina graduate student who is a current member of the Cougar Women's Soccer team and meets U SPORTS eligibility and funding requirements. The award recognizes student athletes pursuing graduate studies while maintaining their athletic commitments. If due to a funding cap the full award amount cannot be administered to a single recipient, the remaining funds may be awarded to additional athletes who meet the criteria.
