Dr Katherine Bau and Brothers Scholarship

The Dr Katherine Bau and Brothers Scholarship is a postgraduate scholarship established in 2024 to provide financial assistance to students experiencing financial hardships while studying the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. This scholarship was funded by a donation from Dr Katherine Bau Wong and aims to support students facing economic challenges during their medical education. The scholarship is valued at $45,000 per annum and is tenable for up to 4 years, paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout their program and continue full-time enrollment. The scholarship is awarded based on both academic merit and demonstrated financial need, as determined by the Head of School and Dean of The University of Sydney School of Medicine.
