Dr Larry Beauchamp Leadership Scholarship

The Dr Larry Beauchamp Leadership Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student with superior academic achievement in their final year of study in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership in extracurricular and community activities related to enhancing physical activity, volunteer sports or coaching activities, and academic achievement. This endowed scholarship was established by the friends and colleagues of Larry Beauchamp in recognition of his tremendous contributions to the Education community through his tenure with the Department of Secondary Education and eight years as Dean of the Faculty of Education. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship portal.
