About this opportunity
The Dr. Larry Darlage Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered to students currently enrolled at Tarrant County College's Northeast Campus who are pursuing an associate degree with the intent to continue toward a bachelor's degree at a four-year institution. The scholarship specifically supports students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields who have demonstrated academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must have completed at least 20 credit hours at TCC and be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours during the award period. Recipients must address their STEM career area of interest in their scholarship application essay. This scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if recipients maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and complete at least 9 credit hours in the fall semester. The award is supported by Tarrant County College Faculty, Staff and Community, Grapevine Rotary Club, and Metroport Rotary Club.
