Dr. Lawrence W. Copithorne Memorial Scholarship

The Dr. Lawrence W. Copithorne Memorial Scholarship is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student entering third or fourth year in the Faculty of Arts, BA Honours Economics degree program at the University of Calgary. The scholarship recognizes academic merit and is specifically designed to support students who demonstrate an interest in energy economics or the economics of natural resources. This award was established by the Department of Economics, along with family and friends of Lawrence Copithorne, to honor his memory and support students pursuing studies in these important economic fields. The scholarship provides up to $4,500 in funding to one deserving student each year.
