About this opportunity
This fellowship was established by Dr. Goodman and Dr. Alexander to provide support to students pursuing a PhD at the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Goodman was a former Associate Dean and Acting Dean of the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing at UMass Amherst and the former Dean of the Graduate School of Nursing at UMass Worcester. Dr. Alexander received her MS degree in Nursing from UMass Amherst and is the former Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Nursing at UMass Worcester.
Recipients of the fellowship should demonstrate financial need, a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, as well as leadership potential within the nursing profession. Eligible recipients may not have a judicial record with the University. The fellowship provides variable financial support to doctoral nursing students who meet these criteria.
