Dr Lorne Baird Warneke LGBTQ2S+ Resident Award

The Dr Lorne Baird Warneke LGBTQ2S+ Resident Award is awarded to resident physicians with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of study with the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, advocacy, and/or scholarly work advancing equity and inclusion for the LGBTQ2S+ population. Preference will be given to resident physicians with demonstrated focus in transgender populations. This award is funded through endowed funds by John Chan and recognizes residents who are actively working to promote inclusivity and equity for LGBTQ2S+ communities in healthcare and medical education.
