Dr. Louis Grado Scholarship in Education and Service

The Dr. Louis Grado Scholarship in Education and Service supports undergraduate Education majors at Eastern Illinois University who demonstrate a commitment to teaching and public service. The scholarship is awarded to full-time students in good academic standing who have been accepted to the university. Preference is given to applicants who strive to provide public service and/or pursue a career in a public service profession. Financial need is also a consideration in the selection process. Recipients may be eligible to reapply and receive the award again in subsequent years, provided they continue to meet the stated criteria. The award is announced in the spring and disbursed in the fall semester.
