Dr. Marion Porath Legacy Scholarship in Art Education

The Dr. Marion Porath Legacy Scholarship in Art Education is awarded annually to an academically outstanding graduate student in Educational Curriculum and Instruction in the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria. The scholarship recognizes students who provide service to the educational community and conduct research in Art Education, with a preference for those whose research focuses on the exploration of children's art. The award is at least $2,500 and requires no application, as recipients are selected based on nominations from eligible academic units. To be considered, students must maintain an A- average and be full-time graduate students. Approval of recipients is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon recommendation from the Department of Education Curriculum and Instruction.
