About this opportunity
The Dr Mary Booth Scholarship supports female students with the highest weighted average mark (WAM) at the end of the second year of their undergraduate economics degree at the University of Sydney. This scholarship was established to recognize academic excellence among women studying economics and is funded by a donation from the Memorial College of Household Arts and Science. Recipients must be currently enrolled in their third year of an eligible economics degree program within the School of Economics, have obtained a minimum of 96 credit points, and have achieved the highest WAM at the end of their second year. The scholarship provides financial support to help students complete their undergraduate studies in economics.
The scholarship is awarded automatically to the eligible student with the highest academic performance, requiring no application. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 75 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship. The award provides up to two years of funding for full-time students or up to four years for part-time students.
