Dr Matthew Valetich Honours Scholarship in Geoscience

The Dr Matthew Valetich Honours Scholarship in Geoscience is offered annually by the Research School of Earth Sciences within the ANU College of Science and Medicine. The objective of the Award is to provide financial assistance to a student undertaking their honours year in geoscience. The scholarship is valued at $9,000 per annum and is paid over a twelve-month period in equal instalments after the census date each semester. Funding for this Award has been provided by Anglo American Exploration (Australia) Pty Limited in honour of Dr Matthew Valetich, a PhD graduate of the Research School of Earth Sciences. The scholarship is available to both domestic and international students who are commencing or continuing their honours studies and can demonstrate financial hardship that may impact their ability to commence, continue, or complete their studies.
