About this opportunity
Established in recognition of Merron Chorny, professor in the Faculty of Education from September 1, 1960 through August 31, 1985, this scholarship has been augmented by a donation from Dr. Chorny and his family. The scholarship is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the Werklund School of Education - Secondary Route with an English specialization. Selection is based on academic merit, practice teaching proficiency, and participation in student activities.
