Dr Peter J Murphy Award in Forestry

The Dr Peter J Murphy Award in Forestry is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the third year of a Bachelor of Science in Forestry or a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Sciences. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership in forestry or forest-related activities. Preference is given to students studying sustainable forest management. This award is funded through endowed funds by Barbara Eberlein in honour of Dr Peter J Murphy, to encourage and recognize scholarship and participation in forestry or forest-related studies. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application at the University of Alberta.
