Dr. Ranjit S. Dhaliwal Scholarship in Mathematics and Statistics

The Dr. Ranjit S. Dhaliwal Scholarship in Mathematics and Statistics is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the Faculty of Science at the University of Calgary. The scholarship honors Dr. Ranjit S. Dhaliwal, who joined the Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics and Statistics in 1966 as a respected professor and scholar whose commitment to his profession and students continued long after his retirement in 1995. The award is designated for students majoring in Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or General Mathematics. Selection is based on academic merit, and the scholarship provides up to $6,500 CAD annually to one recipient.
